EUR<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Aktuelle Herausforderung: Weitergabe steigender Inputpreise bei gef\u00fcllter Supply-Chain&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wie erwartet konnte die Mayr-Melnhof Gruppe das erste Quartal 2011 mit einem deutlichen Ergebniszuwachs abschlie\u00dfen. Das Marktumfeld hat sich aber nach dem au\u00dferordentlichen Aufschwung des Vorjahres wieder normalisiert. Beide Segmente, MM Karton und MM Packaging, haben sich weiterhin gut behauptet und verzeichneten in den ersten drei Monaten nahezu Vollauslastung. MM Karton konnte die nach wie vor stark steigenden Inputkosten gro\u00dfteils kompensieren, MM Packaging gelang dies erst sukzessive im Quartalsverlauf. EUR (Q1 2010: 439,2 Mio. EUR).<\/p>\n<p>Beim betrieblichen Ergebnis konnte ein Zuwachs um 24,4 % bzw. 9,8 Mio. EUR auf 50,0 Mio. EUR erzielt werden. Diese Verbesserung ist im Wesentlichen auf den Ergebnisanstieg in der Kartonproduktion zur\u00fcckzuf\u00fchren. Damit stieg die Operating Margin von 9,2 % (Q1 2010) auf 10,1 %.<\/p>\n<p>Das Ergebnis vor Steuern lag mit 48,5 Mio. EUR um 24,4 % \u00fcber dem Vergleichswert des Vorjahres (Q1 2010: 39,0 Mio. EUR). Die Steuern vom Einkommen und Ertrag beliefen sich auf 13,1 Mio. EUR (Q1 2010: 11,2 Mio. EUR). Der effektive Konzernsteuersatz betrug somit 27,0 % (Q1 2010: 28,7 %).<\/p>\n<p>Folglich erh\u00f6hte sich der Perioden\u00fcberschuss von 27,8 Mio. EUR auf 35,4 Mio. EUR. Dies entspricht einem Anstieg von 27,3 % gegen\u00fcber dem Vorjahreswert.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"content-element--fce-file--dwmmag_regulartextelement\">\n<section class=\"fce-text\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div>\n<h2>Ausblick<\/h2>\n<p>Die Nachfragedynamik hat sich im Hauptmarkt Europa weitgehend normalisiert und in einzelnen L\u00e4ndern sogar verflacht. Die Tendenz bleibt aber insgesamt noch positiv, vor allem durch den Absatzmarkt Deutschland, auf dem sich die verbesserte Arbeitsmarktlage auch g\u00fcnstig auf den Privatkonsum auswirkt.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In der Kartonerzeugung wie auch in der Kartonverarbeitung sp\u00fcren wir aber einen zunehmenden Bestandsabbau in der \u00fcber die letzten Monate stark aufgef\u00fcllten Supply-Chain.<\/p>\n<p>Vor diesem Hintergrund gestaltet sich die Weitergabe der weiterhin zum Teil stark steigenden Inputpreise, vor allem bei Fasern, Transport und Chemikalien, als gro\u00dfe Herausforderung. Infolge des starken Kostenanstiegs bei Altpapier, Chemikalien und Transport lag ein besonderes Augenmerk auf der Fortf\u00fchrung der Preisdisziplin.<\/p>\n<p>Entsprechend stiegen die Umsatzerl\u00f6se um 10,7 % auf 243,4 Mio. EUR nach 219,9 Mio. EUR im ersten Quartal des Vorjahres, obwohl die verkaufte Menge mit 399.000 Tonnen um 3,9 % unter dem Vergleichswert (Q1 2010: 415.000 Tonnen) lag. Hiervon wurden 81 % in Europa und 19 % auf den au\u00dfereurop\u00e4ischen M\u00e4rkten abgesetzt (Q1 2010: 79 %; 21 %).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Die produzierte Tonnage belief sich auf 390.000 Tonnen und lag damit ebenfalls leicht um 3,5 % unter dem Vorjahreswert (Q1 2010: 404.000 Tonnen).<\/p>\n<p>Mit 24,3 Mio. EUR konnte das betriebliche Ergebnis (Q1 2010: 12,2 Mio. EUR) nahezu verdoppelt werden. Die Operating Margin erh\u00f6hte sich in der Folge auf 10,0 % (Q1 2010: 5,5 %).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Modernisierung im Werk Kolicevo Karton, Slowenien<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr die gr\u00f6\u00dfere der beiden Kartonmaschinen im slowenischen Kartonwerk Kolicevo Karton wurde eine zukunftsweisende Modernisierung und Umstellung auf eine \u201eSwing-Maschine\u201c zur Fertigung von sowohl Recyclingkarton als auch Frischfaserkarton entschieden.<\/p>\n<p>Der Umbau ist f\u00fcr die letzten Wochen des Jahres 2011 terminiert und soll ab Anfang 2012 neues Markt- und Ergebnispotential erschlie\u00dfen. Die Investitionskosten werden sich auf \u00fcber 40 Mio. Besonders best\u00e4ndig zeigte sich dabei das Gesch\u00e4ft in den Absatzbereichen Fast Moving Consumer Goods (Lebensmittel) und Tobacco.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Die Weitergabe der j\u00fcngsten Kartonpreiserh\u00f6hung als auch des sp\u00fcrbaren Anstiegs der weiteren direkten Kosten bleibt eine laufende Herausforderung.<\/p>\n<p>Die verarbeitete Tonnage erreichte 177.000 Tonnen und stieg damit um 4,1 % gegen\u00fcber dem Vorjahreswert (Q1 2010: 170.000 Tonnen).<\/p>\n<p>Sowohl mengen- als auch preisbedingt erh\u00f6hten sich die Umsatzerl\u00f6se um 12,7 % auf 281,2 Mio. EUR (Q1 2010: 249,6 Mio. EUR), wobei nahezu die H\u00e4lfte dieses Anstiegs auf die Akquisition des letzten Jahres zur\u00fcckzuf\u00fchren ist.<\/p>\n<p>Infolge der zeitversetzten Weitergabe der stark gestiegenen Kartonpreise lag das betriebliche Ergebnis mit 25,7 Mio. EUR um 8,2 % unter dem Vergleichsquartal (Q1 2010: 28,0 Mio. EUR).
