European Carton Excellence Award 2019 – Platin for MMP
At this year’s European Carton Excellence Award, Europe’s most important competition for cartonboard packaging, MMP Austria received a platinum award for a packaging commissioned by the customer Sonnentor.
At the Award Gala at the ECMA Congress in Malta, the winners of this year’s award were again for outstanding cardboard packaging solutions in the various market segments – from everyday food packaging to medicines and luxury goods.
Manuka Drops – Healthy and Safe Packaging
The customer’s requirement for the packaging solution was a resealable, secure blister package in a handy size that could include a product description. The pure Manuka Honey drops required natural haptic packaging – this was achieved by using uncoated cartonboard and matt varnish. The product is also secured by a blister that cannot be removed without damaging the packaging.
