About Packaging Kraft Paper

MM POLAR® Packaging Kraft Paper is a machine-finished (MF) kraft paper packaging designed for a wide range of applications that combine performance, sustainability and visual appeal. Whether used in kraft paper bags for fashion retail or food service, in flow packs for cookies, pouches for pet food, or block bottom bags for dry goods like flour and sugar, MM POLAR® ensures reliable protection and excellent printability.

Made from fibres sourced from sustainably managed forests, our kraft paper for food packaging meets the highest standards in environmental responsibility and product safety, with certifications such as ISEGA and Asthma Allergy. The MM POLAR® STRONG and MM POLAR® PLUS grades provide superior strength, smoothness and formation, enabling consistent quality in demanding converting processes and excellent results in flexo and offset printing. It also supports a variety of coatings and functional barriers – including PE, aluminium, grease and freeze resistance – making it ideal for packaging that requires enhanced durability and food protection.

Technical details

MM POLAR® STRONG (60–90 g/m²) is a machine-finished kraft paper developed for high-performance kraft paper packaging applications. Thanks to a carefully selected fibre composition, it offers excellent strength, high smoothness, and consistent formation – making it ideal for demanding converting and printing processes.

Mill:
Produced at MM Kwidzyn, a site known for its high-quality pulp production, ensuring reliable and consistent paper quality. The mill supports top performance across various printing techniques delivering vivid colour, contrast and full coverage.

Retail & Food Service
