GRACIAS from Hospital – MMP donates protective equipment
In the joint fight against the Covid19 pandemic, which has impacted Spain particularly hard, the Mayr-Melnhof Packaging Iberica plant donated protective clothing and masks to the local hospital in Alzira, thus making an important contribution to society.
Fast action, great effect
Due to the current situation, overalls and masks intended for plant visitors and customers cannot be issued. MMP employees therefore took them to where they were most urgently needed – the hospital.
“The current extraordinary situation confronts us as a hospital with new challenges every day and pushes us to the limits of our capacity. On behalf of the Hospital Universitario de la Ribera and the entire staff, we thank MM Packaging with all our heart for the solidarity and the valuable donation of materials that protect our doctors and nurses in their daily fight against Covid-19. Especially in these difficult times, cohesion is more important than ever – only together can we overcome this crisis” the hospital’s letter of thanks said.
