Upgrade Kolicevo
The BM3 at Kolicevo Karton in Slovenia has been successfully upgraed to a state-of-the-art machine with swing technology.
Only ten months after the decision on this major project, work was completed in less than four weeks by the end of last year. In addition, this break was used for investmens in stock preparation and a unique water circulation system. A packaging line provides the most advanced delivery service in Europe.

About 500 workers and 30 companies were involved in this mission – and the result is impressive: A new Excellent TopTM with an even surface, improved smoothness and extraordinary gloss! Produced before solely in Baiersbronn, this very popular GC2 quality can be produced in even larger quantities, thanks to the MultiMill concept of MM Karton – offering improved supply reliabilty. Thanks to new technology, MM Karton can now switch between FBB and WLC qualities according the market demand.
