Mr. Oliver Schumy appointed CFO

The Company announces that in today’s meeting of the Supervisory Board Dr. Oliver Schumy, 37, Group Finance Director since October 2006, has been appointed CFO and Member of the Management Board effective as of June 1, 2008. 

During the past ten years Mr. Schumy has held several management functions in the areas of finance, taxes, corporate accounting and M&A within MM. 

The Group thereby continues its successful tradition of long-term internal management succession planning.
