Wilhelm Hörmanseder reappointed Chairman of the Management Board of Mayr-Melnhof Karton AG

In yesterday’s meeting of the Supervisory Board of Mayr-Melnhof Karton AG Dr. Wilhelm Hörmanseder has been unanimously reappointed Chairman of the Management Board for a further period of five years. The new term will start on January 1, 2010 and end on December 31, 2014. 

Mr. Hörmanseder joined the Mayr-Melnhof Group in 1990 and has been Chairman of the Management Board and CEO since May 2002. 

He has significantly shaped the company’s successful development during the past two decades. His reappointment underlines the continuity and sustainability in the management of the Mayr-Melnhof Group.
 
The current term of the other members of the Management Board will end mid-May 2010.
