Offset printing is an indirect printing method where the printing ink is transferred onto a rubber-covered blanket cylinder by a plate cylinder, the so-called print form.
This rubber cylinder transfers the image onto the cartonboard. For this process, we use conventional as well as UV processes that work with low-migration and food-safe inks and coatings.
Offset printing is one of the most common printing processes used for magazines, books and folding boxes for products in a variety of categories in the fast-moving consumer goods industry. The high image quality, the simple printing plate process, durability and the cost-effectiveness make this technology appealing. Offset printing meets the printing demand from small to large lots, combining high-quality results and cost-efficiency in an excellent way.
Reverse printing is also available, making it possible to print on both sides of the substrate.
