The mountains of waste created by the use of single-use plastic dishes are growing. With the “Single-Use Plastics Directive”, the EU aims to reduce single-use plastics items or replace them with existing more sustainable alternatives by 2021 at the latest. At the top of the banned list: plastic tableware.
