The latest conversions at our mills MM Frohnleiten, MM Neuss and MM Kolicevo are a clear commitment to sustainability: higher capacities mean lower specific resource input. As a result, the machines at all three locations consume proportionally less energy. In addition to performance, all of the projects mentioned place a major focus on the properties of the cartonboard in order to save fibres and, indirectly, CO₂ all while improving the product quality.”

We therefore produce a large share of the electricity we need ourselves. We are also constantly improving our ecological footprint by using energy sources with low CO2 emissions and purchasing green electricity. We additionally plan to make our energy use even more flexible in order to support the electrification of the energy systems in the countries in which we operate.”
