Mayr-Melnhof Group joins UN Global Compact initiative
The UN Global Compact of the United Nations is the world’s largest initiative for corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development. Its goal is to make globalisation more socially and environmentally compatible.
Since early this year, Mayr-Melnhof Group has been part of the UN Global Compact network. Joining the network represents a clear commitment to the 10 universal principles of the UN Global Compact regarding human rights, work standards, anti-corruption efforts and environmental protection. We support the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals and expect responsible conduct not only from our employees but also our business partners.
