Gotthard Mayringer appointed new CFO

The Supervisory Board of Mayr-Melnhof Karton AG has unanimously appointed Gotthard Mayringer (48) as new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Gotthard Mayringer is a long-term CFO of the group Engel Holding Gesellschaft m.b.H., Schwertberg. The company is world market leader in injection moulding machines.

Born in Upper Austria he completed studies of Business Administration at Johannes Keppler University in Linz. Subsequently he was employed with KPMG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft in Frankfurt am Main, Linz and Salzburg for eight years. At this time he was also a university lecturer.

Gotthard Mayringer succeeds Oliver Schumy after March 1, 2015. His first term of office will be three years.
