Liner from MMK: High Quality, Strong Growth

Dynamic growth figures for high quality liners document non-stop interest in the liner qualities of MM Karton: Offset-Liner MM Liner™ and MM Topliner™ as well as Flexoliner MM X-Liner™ and MM X-Liner aqua-fit™ are becoming ever more popular.

Brochures and four Liner-Samples

Our white coated liner on a recycled basis particularly impresses with outstanding printability and high smoothness in combination with the best gloss and perfect laminating properties. In this way, it gives packaged or displayed products an outstanding brand appearance at the point of sale.
The latest innovation, MM X-Liner aqua-fit™, has the added benefit of excellent moisture protection. This Flexoliner is prepared with a moisture barrier on the top and reverse layer (Cobb value 100 gsm,1800 s), which greatly limits water absorption. MMX-Liner aqua-fit™ is ideal for the use of corrugated packaging which comes into contact with moisture through the supply chain – for example, vegetable and fruit trays.

The test makes it clear: a BCT (Box Compression Test) according to DIN 55 440-1 was carried out to determine compression resistance. The BCT value (measured in Newton) is therefore a measure for the stability of packaging. A box produced with MMX-Liner aqua-fit™ and a packaging manufactured with a coated Kraftliner were compared. The result speaks volumes for the quality of MMK: in a moist and cool environment, which is generally the case for the storage of fruit and vegetables, MM X-Liner aquafit™ box surpassed the packaging with the Kraftliner!

Liner Sample Box

Outstanding quality also requires outstanding presentation: in addition to informative brochures for liner qualities and for MM X-Liner aqua-fit™, the new liner sample box also contains printed and unprinted samples as well as samples laminated on different flutes. The high quality of our liner product portfolio is presented to demonstrate application and simplifies selection of the ideal cartonboard in daily business.
